My Fitness Journey or 'How to Get a Hot Body'

Well, I have been going great guns at the gym.
Last night's step class had me completely pooped - and considering how much I stood there being bewildered over the footwork I am quite surprised.

Tonight I have pump. EEEK! Am so scared. You see, last time I did it since my muscles didn't hurt much after I think that means I have to add more weights. This scares me because I am not sure I want to go through another week of trying to walk down stairs with straight legs and avoiding sitting on the loo like the first class I did.  Hmmm

If I do decide to up it, I will have to go to 6 kilos, so I will update how I go.

Still so enjoying the gym though, it really is my sanity saver. Wish my thighs would shrink and that fatty layer over my abdominals would disappear to reveal a 6-pack, but all in good time I guess!

I also got up a bit early thismorning and did a quick toning DVD - just 39 minutes and was glad I did it. I am NOT a morning person. I absolutely hate getting up in the morning so am always surprised when I do it. Funny everyone in my family is the same, we are all quite morose until we spring to life after the second cup of tea.

I did pretty much nothing over the weekend, in fact I got quite SADD - I really wanted to go for a 'long walk on the beach' - such a romantic - but the weather just didn't quite entice me to it. 

Off to get into my workout gear so there is no turning back, even though tonight - I must admit, a hot choccie and a movie on Sky is beckoning.
