I'll start the ball rolling... My mum is an incredible woman - often blurting out little catchphrases that used to annoy me when I was young (sorry mum!). As a 'grown up' - (eek scary!) I have to say she has taught me a lot!

She used to say, "If you see something that needs to be done - do it!" when I was a lazy teenager. I hated it at the time, but now have her to thank for being hard-working and ambitious.

I think her best wisdom was this little nugget: "A man that loves dogs will make a great husband and father." - A few years down the track and my fiance is also known as 'the dog whisperer'! Ha ha
