'I LOVE Mum' scrapbook
Kikki K stationary has bought out a gorgeous little Mother's Day book where you fill in answers to questions such as 'My earliest memory of you was...' and 'I want to thank you for...' - there is plenty of space to pop cute photos in the book as well, so it would make a wonderful memory for your mother. Any scrapbook would do - get a gorgeous blank paged journal and fill the pages with your own inspirations and thanks for your mum.

Organise a special High Tea for your mum and her friends - you can choose to go to a nice cafe and order cakes and pastries and plenty of pots of tea to wile away the time, or you could check your local hotel to see if they do high tea. If you can't find a place with what you need, get plenty of varieties of tea, loads of sweet nibbles and make some delicate sandwiches to have at home - asparagus rolls and cucumber sandwiches with the crusts removed are ideal. 

Beautiful Mother
Make your mum feel truly beautiful with a special pampering. If she still works too hard running around after the family, a relaxing massage might be in order. Mum would also really enjoy a facial treatment or a makeover at a makeup counter. What better way to make mum feel good about herself. Take her out to lunch or dinner afterwards so she can show off her new look.

Mother's Day Goodie Basket
Why not get a nice basket from Spotlight or a craft store and fill it with your mother's favourite things - think nice chocolates, her favourite drop of wine, specialty teas, a new lipstick, a music cd she has been after, dried fruit or other nibbles - you get the idea. Wrap the whole basket up with cellophane and a big bow and she will be delighted at the array of treats to enjoy.

Message for Mum
When was the last time you made your mother a card? Remember when you were eight years old and you would lie on the floor of your bedroom for hours surrounded by a mess of crayons - that your mother had to clear up - crafting a card for her? Now that you're older why not get crafty and try again. You could paint her a picture of her favourite flower or adapt a photo into an artwork. Perhaps take a great family photo and make a card in a basic photo editing programme and print it out. Many copy centres offer other unique ideas such as printing photos and messages on a coffee mug or calendar.
