fathers-day.jpgFather’s Day is only weeks away, and has me thinking about all the things my dad has done for me over the years.  From standing on the side lines cheering me on at s high school netball games, to pushing to the front of the crowd, camera in hand, (in the pouring rain no less) to take photos of me walking in my university graduation parade, to imparting his love for music onto me, there’s so much to be thankful to my dad for.  Here at the Gloss office, our love for our dads has inspired us to get thinking about some unique gift ideas for this Father’s Day.  After all, not all dads are content with the trusty socks/undies combo.  Take the opportunity this Father’s Day to spoil your dad and show him how much you care with a thoughtful gift he’s bound to love!

This is a really thoughtful gift idea.  Fill a gift basket with things your dad loves, such as chocolates, gadgets or perhaps a bottle of spirits if he’s that way inclined!  Or, theme it around one of his interests. If your dad is a foodie, stock up on gourmet foods from a specialty grocery store such as Nosh.  You could also include things like BBQ accessories (lots of dads love their BBQ!).  Or, if your dad is a music fan, CDs and DVDs from his favourite artists, a band t-shirt etc.
