Winter '07 once again sees an '80s influence, on pieces from the likes of Cybèle and Mundo - while Doris de Pont's men's range practically screams Culture Club. Jimmy D echoes the past with prints of half-hearts on oversized tee shirts, and Federation's skate-inspired collection features some key jersey pieces in retro shades of pink and baby blue. Carlson's silver leotard and striped leggings are very Flashdance!

And although leggings have been around for a couple of seasons now, they were still the most common garment on the catwalk at the recent Vodafone id Dunedin Fashion Week, along with leg warmers - proving that they aren't going anywhere this season.

Dot Com's high stirrup leggings (pictured above) were our faves, as they would look fab paired with dresses, shorts, chunky knits and long tops. Our advice - you can't go wrong with an affordable pair, because even if they take you a while to get used to (again!), leggings are this season's must-haves!
