Soft and natural nude and blush tones are a standout trend for the summer, and they come in many different incarnations. Prints, soft and sheer fabrics, masculine tailoring and draping are all available in every shade of neutral imaginable.

This is a classic, chic look that follows on from the ballet-inspired looks that showed last  summer, and it's a great trend to follow for summer if you are into buying investment pieces. Yes, they are going to be trendy this year, but nude and blush-toned garments are great wardrobe staples – they pair beautifully with statement pieces - so any pieces you purchase are going to be wearable and current long after the trend dies down.

Designers really had fun with colour in their collections summer sees an influx of carnival-esque brights that POP!

Fluorescent hues are making a comeback - this time more electric and fresh than the trashy, disco-crazy brights we have seen in the past.  Pink, purple and lime stand out and wil really come into their own for high summer.

Cobalt blue is a strong as is bright orange-red - such a power colour and great for those days when you need a pick-me -up, or a “sex-me-up”!  A fabulous red piece definitely needs to be on your shopping list for summer.

As we said above, pair brights with nude for a match made in fashion heaven – current, modern and easy to wear; simple statement brights are great with denims, too.
