Those with an edgier lean in their fashion stylings will be wanting to check out the new store on K Rd - The Tattooed Heart, including the stunning jewellery range by William Griffiths... With a cult following of high-profile clients including Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, master jeweller William Llewellyn Griffiths has crafted pieces for some of the hottest names in Hollywood.

Inspired by tattoo art, biomechanics and gothic architecture Griffiths’ new Metal Couture Collection melds the worlds of Haute Couture and fashion and is now available exclusively at New Zealand’s The Tattooed Heart studio.

His distinct signature has also lead to collaborations with designers including Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and renowned shoemaker Terri de Havilland.

Griffiths’ unique style of jewellery features precious and semi-precious metals and stones. The Tattooed Heart stocks a range of pieces including necklaces, rings and earrings and can also request custom pieces made to order.

Home to some of the country’s most talented tattooists, The Tattooed Heart also stocks clothing ranges from popular labels Misery and its own Tattooed Heart collection.

Misery’s range of distinctive Japanese inspired characters are emblazoned across a range of girls’ t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts as well as gorgeous baby tees and onesies.

Talented in-house artists Adam Craft and Liesje have also turned their creative talents to producing an inspired and artistic range of clothing for The Tattooed Heart.

The range of boys’ and girls’ hoodies, t-shirts and singlets are all made locally using New Zealand resources while the limited edition tote bags are ethically manufactured in India.

Prices for Metal Couture jewellery start at $85 while Misery t-shirts and onesies range from $55. The Tattooed Heart singlets are $35, t-shirts $55, hoodies start at $120 while tote bags are priced at $40.
