Fleur Revell-Devlin and her company, Impact PR, is the public relations expert behind Fashion Week this year. She took time out of her busy schedule (only one week till Fashion Week starts) to talk to FashioNZ about her fashion favourites.

Who is your favourite New Zealand designer?
Yvonne Bennetti, Kate Sylvester, Trelise Cooper.

If you were invited to attend the Academy Awards, who would you ask to design a dress for you?
It would have to be a New Zealand designer so I'd definitely say one of the above.

What were your best buys this winter?
My Yvonne Bennetti plush velvet coats which I bought in both black and white. They are signature pieces and made all that more spectacular by their Swarovski buttons which seem to fascinate my young daughter.

What has been your biggest fashion mistake?
I think those of us who remember the 80s can safely say we made plenty. Kung Fu shoes and Frankie says Relax t-shirts spring to mind.

What is your favourite fashion purchase/garment/outfit of all time?
I would have to say my Jane Yeh Empire Line wedding dress which holds such sentimental value for me. It is currently taking up a large amount of space in the spare wardrobe.

You would rather eat your own shirt than wear.............
Leopard print or white boots.

Who are you most looking forward to seeing at NZ fashion week?
I've heard that all of the Air New Zealand Fashion Week designers have worked really hard to put together some incredible shows. I'm looking forward to seeing my favourites (see question 2) but also Stolen Girlfriends Club, Federation, Hailwood and Huffer.
