How is your Christmas shopping coming along? Any tips/ideas?
Hmmm…I’m in the planning stages, which generally concludes about two weeks before the big day with a frenzied blast around the shops to collect all the goodies. I always wished I was one of those extremely organised people that collects Christmas gifts during the year…how do they do that?


What do you hope to find in your Christmas stocking?
Well short of finding something black, shiny and extremely fast parked in the driveway (always hopeful!) I just adore getting things the kids have made; their cards and what they write in them is just priceless.

How will you spend Christmas day?
I have to admit, I’m one of ‘those’ painful people that really gets into and enjoys Christmas. I’ll be spending it with my gorgeous family here in Auckland and we always start the day by opening pressies, accompanied by my mum’s delicious pecan tarts and a glass of Champagne. The kids really make the day and it’s so much fun enjoying it through their eyes.

What’s your Christmas wish for your brand/label/store/business?
It’s a fantastic time of year for us, when customers are looking for that little gift for themselves. I think it’s been a tough year for a lot of people and it’s thoroughly satisfying helping them find the ultimate dress, pair of jeans or beautiful piece of jewellery and witnessing how that transforms their mood and confidence.
