With summer well and truly here, it's time to break out the summer fashion - and this includes our beloved shorts.

From classic denim shorts to stylish scalloped and lace options, there's a great pair of shorts out there to suit almost everyone.

Classic Denim Cut-Offs
The ultimate summer classic, the denim cut-off short is a staple for every wardrobe this season. From a more frayed and distressed look to something more cuffed and understated, this denim piece can be dressed up or down.

A Pop of Colour
For a look that's spectacularly bold, colourful shorts will do the trick every time (looking especially awesome against that summer tan)!

These vibrant pieces are perfect teamed with a cropped top and an oversized sunhat for some relaxed chic. A black belt can also be added to break up colour when needed, creating a sophisticated ensemble in a snap.

The Max shorts below are a little longer and ultra flattering for when you don't want to show as much skin as some of the other shorts allow. And, in a nod to both the cut-off and coloured denim trend, the lower shorts on the right are definitely a hot piece for the summer.

High-Waisted Shorts
Popularised by the music festival and ‘model-off-duty’ crowd, high wasted shorts are definitely a piece for the more daring fashionista. S

ince this particular cut can show a lot of leg, and tends to be more fitted, make sure to watch the proportions on the rest of your look. A loose-fitting tank or a tucked in white tee will create a style that’s ultra elegant and sophisticated.
