THE WHIGS: In the Dark
The verdict:  It’s all here: the massive electric guitar sound, the thundering bass, the pounding drums plus a fine sense of melody & overall pop smarts. For fans of: Killers and Kings of Leon.

MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS: The Crystal Axis
The verdict:  Midnight Juggernauts have been a favourite of ours since the release of their debut album Dystopia.  Crossing over between the indie and dance categories, the new album doesn’t disappoint.  Veering from percussive, hypnotic pop sounds to more melodic tunes, this one has something for everyone.  For fans of: Cut Copy, The Presets, Krautrock, Justice, The Juan Maclean, Mike Snow.

SIA: We are Born
Indie pop sensation Sia Furler returns with her highly anticipated 5th album, We Are Born.  The new album is a bold pop record of unwavering consistency, depth, finish & pleasure. Produced by Greg Kurstin – the man behind recent albums from Lily Allen, Kesha, Britney Spears & Ladyhawke – We Are Born is 14 dazzling songs, full of immediacy, stark power & driving rhythms. For fans of: Robyn, Lilly Allen, Amy Winehouse, Cristina Aguilera and La Roux.

UNKLE: Where did the Night Fall
The duo known as UNKLE – James Lavelle and Pablo Clements have returned with their new (and their 5th) album ‘Where Did The Night Fall’.  The album is a big, deep, kaleidoscopic record. It’s both widescreen and intimate, propulsive and reflective, drawing in influences as diverse as krautrock, psychedelia, techno, afrobeat and their grass root sample sound. For fans of: DJ Shadow and Massive Attack.
