Relying on everything from a flying motorcycle and a statue that comes alive, to a tree-climbing piglet and a baby elephant that turns up in the oddest places, Nanny McPhee conjures up just the right formula to teach her children five new lessons. The Gloss team was lucky enough to catch up with Emma to talk about her latest film.
I have to admit that I am probably not the most unbiased person to review this film, as I am a self-confessed Twi-hard. My not-so-secret obsession with Twilight has become the subject of much derision from friends of mine, given that I am a 24 year old woman obsessed with a teenage vampire saga.
These cute, precocious kids grew up on our movie and TV screens, but sadly for some of them, their early success did not continue in later life, and sometimes, they fell into obscurity, or notoriety for all the wrong reasons. The Gloss team decided to do some investigating and see what some of our favourite child stars of the 80’s and 90’s are up to now.
Actress Vera Farmiga is one lucky woman. She’s an amazing actress with a successful career, having starred in a range of films opposite some of Hollywood’s top leading men. And in her latest film, Up in the Air Vera stars alongside the ultimate leading man – George Clooney. The Gloss team caught up with Vera on what it was like making the film, and found (surprise, surprise) that one of the best parts about making the film was working with gorgeous George!
It was with excitement that I went to see the much-anticipated sequel to the Sex and the City movie. After all, I have been a fan of the show for years, and really enjoyed the first movie. But sadly, the sequel definitely does not live up to the hype.
