Brooke says: “This is not a ‘please- give-me-a-donation-but-secretly-I-really-want-an-Xbox-or-a-massage- voucher’ type of thing – really and truly,  ALL I want for my birthday is to know that in 2011, ten communities who are currently living (in illness) on parasite-filled, filthy water will get CLEAN, LIFE GIVING WATER!”

She goes on to say “If you would consider giving $27 (it’s my 27th birthday, so a dollar for every year I’ve been hanging around on this crazy earth) toward these wells, it would mean the absolute world to me.”

Brooke will be flying to Africa next year to be at the drilling of at least one of the wells, and all the wells they make will be documented by photos, videos and GPS coordinates (so you can zoom in and see the wells on Google Earth!).
